Patients with chronic inflammatory conditions may present with the following symptoms: tired of being ‘sick and tired’; sensitivity or reactivity to multiple foods, chemicals and or toxins; have an unexplained reaction/s or symptoms when they enter a room, a building or a particular area; feel different or slightly unwell when they use or come near a mobile phone, a computer or any electronic appliances; have general malaise, aches and pains, lethargic, foggy brains, sleep issues, headaches, or unexplained symptoms of inflammation; or have multiple unexplained symptoms that are chronic, persisting, and affecting multiple organ symptoms of the body.
Patients may be diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), Chronic inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS), Mitochondrial dysfunction, Biotoxin Illness, Sensitivity to electromagnetic field (EMF) or electromagnetic radiation (EMF), or other multisystem chronic problems.
Chronic inflammatory conditions are clinically challenging and often very complex and a personalised and integrative approach is required.
At QIM, our practitioners are trained to address not just the symptoms but also the cause/s of the symptoms, treating the whole person and not just the disease.
